“Depression is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign that you have been trying to be strong for too long.”
I really liked this picture because it’s a very good illustration of how I’m feeling. Surrounded [buried] by both beautiful [blessings] and dull [responsibilities] things all mixed up in a mish mash of chaos with me trying to keep order whilst treading water. On the surface all appears calm but out of sight my little legs are going like crazy!!
Wow! I am writing that saying down. How true it is. How healing as well.
B ~ it really struck a chord with me as well. Heaven sent methinks…

Hi Sharon,
This is a profoundly true statement.
I hope you are OK and taking the time you need. Sending you warm thoughts and hugs from a freezing UK.
God is with you so don’t forget that ! Ever.
Blessings
Hi Phil ~ good to see you again. Yes ty, I’m definately moving in the right direction. It’s a bit two steps forward, one step back but it’s taken quite a while to become this ill so I suspect it will take quite a while to heal also. I’m trying not to expect too much of myself.
Yes, snow here in Milton Keynes this morning, not enough to stop ‘normal viewing’ however much to the disappointment of the children lol.
Thank you for your kind words. xx

Strength lies in admitting your weakness. Then God can come in and do for us what we can’t do for ourselves “for my strength is made perfect in weakness” ~ may His strength continue to uphold you.

Very true Autumn ~ it is when I’m closest to God that I can feel him holding me.

What a beautiful statement, Sharon. How beautiful, as well, that you share as you feel, or felt then. I hope you find time and space to rest and be just as you feel, without having to do anything.
In prayers with you,
love, claire
